Rear Window Glass - 4-Door: Removal

Remove the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to: D-Pillar Trim Panel - 4-Door .
Disconnect the rear window defrost electrical connectors.

WARNING: Wear protective gloves when handling components or parts that have pointed or sharp edges. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

NOTE: Lubricate the existing urethane adhesive with water to aid the Deluxe Air Knife while cutting.

Using the special tool and working from inside the vehicle, cut the urethane adhesive from the rear window glass starting at the top center and working toward the bottom corners. Use Special Service Tool: 300-AST1770E Deluxe Air Knife.

Distance the upper rear window glass from the body.
Using the special tool and working from inside the vehicle, cut the remaining urethane adhesive and remove the rear window glass. Use Special Service Tool: 300-AST1770E Deluxe Air Knife.
