Rear Quarter Window Glass - 5-Door: Removal

  1. Remove the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to: D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL - 5-DOOR .
  2. NOTE: Some resistance may be encountered when cutting though the glass locating spacers.

    Cut the glass locating spacers. Use the General Equipment: Knife

  3. NOTE: Make sure that the component paintwork is not damaged.

    1. Apply tape to specified component or area. Use the General Equipment: Adhesive Tape
    2. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  4. NOTE: Lubricate the existing urethane adhesive with water to aid the Deluxe Air Knife while cutting.

    This procedure step requires the specified number of technicians. Use Special Service Tool: 300-AST1770E Deluxe Air Knife.
