Rear Door Window Regulator: Removal

  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, refer to Safety Warnings in GENERAL INFORMATION (EXCEPT ELECTRIC) . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .

  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to: REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL
  3. Position aside the rear door watershield.

  4. Install the rear window control switch.

  5. Position the rear window control switch and lower the rear window glass to full down position.

  6. Release the clip from the rear door window glass and raise the rear door window glass to the full up position. Use the General Equipment: Flat Headed Screw Driver

  7. Tape the rear door window glass in place. Use the General Equipment: Adhesive Tape

  8. Remove the rear door window regulator.

    • Remove the retainers and the rear door window regulator.
