Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

REFER to: Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) - System Operation and Component Description  .

NOTE: Some brands/types of mobile phone or laptop computer chargers may cause interference that could lead to a PATS no-start if the passive key is within close proximity of the charger. If a concern is observed, move the passive key away from the charger and attempt to start the vehicle.

RFA Module DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B10C7:1F Interior Trunk Antenna: Circuit Intermittent Sets when the RFA module detects an open, short to ground, or short to voltage from one of the rear PATS antenna circuits.
B10C8:1F Interior Centre Antenna: Circuit Intermittent Sets when the RFA module detects an open, short to ground, or short to voltage from one of the center PATS antenna circuits.
B10C9:1F Interior Front Antenna: Circuit Intermittent Sets when the RFA module detects an open, short to ground, or short to voltage from one of the front PATS antenna circuits.
B10D5:1F PATS Antenna: Circuit Intermittent Sets when the RFA module detects a short to ground or short to voltage from one of the center PATS antenna circuits.
