Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) Transceiver: Removal

  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, refer to Safety Warnings in GENERAL INFORMATION (EXCEPT ELECTRIC) . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

  2. Remove the steering column shrouds. Refer to: STEERING COLUMN SHROUDS
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector, release the tabs and remove the PATS transceiver.
