Adaptive Front Lighting Module: Removal

Vehicles that have not previously had the adaptive front lighting module replaced 

  1. Cut a hole in the headlamp housing.

  2. Remove the headlamp assembly. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly  .
  3. Remove the cut section of the headlamp assembly housing.

  4. Remove the adaptive front lighting module.

    Vehicles that have previously had the adaptive front lighting module replaced 

  5. Remove the headlamp assembly. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly  .
  6. Remove the adaptive front lighting module bracket screws.

  7. Remove the adaptive front lighting module.

    All vehicles 

  8. NOTE: Do not pull on the wire harness to disconnect/connect the connector or damage to the connector/wire harness will occur.

    Remove the adaptive front lighting module connector.
