Front Display Interface Module (FDIM): Removal

Remove the selector lever trim ring. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Remove and disconnect the passenger air bag off indicator lamp. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Remove the access cover.

Release the retainers and remove the floor console trim panel.

Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the floor console upper finish panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  Torque
  
  : 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Remove the lower FCIM screws.
Torque

: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Release the clips, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the instrument panel center middle trim panel.

Remove the screws and the FDIM.
Torque

: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

NOTE: This step is only necessary if replacing the FDIM.

Remove the screws and separate the FDIM from the APIM.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
  Torque
  
  : 9 lb.in (1 Nm)
