Active Park Assist Switch: Removal

  1. NOTE: Automatic transmission shown, manual transmission similar.

    Remove the selector lever trim ring. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  2. Remove the RH finish panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  3. Remove the instrument panel center finish panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  4. Release the clips and remove the floor console upper finish panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  5. Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the floor console upper trim panel.

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

      Torque

      : 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

  6. Remove the screws and the active park assist switch.
