Parking Aid - Visual

The rear parking aid camera system visually aids the driver while reversing or reverse parking the vehicle. When reverse gear is selected, the rear video camera image can be displayed on the 8 in (203 mm) touchscreen or 4.2 in (107 mm) centerstack infotainment display depending on vehicle equipment. The camera system has features that provide fixed and active guideline overlays on the video image to assist the driver in aligning the vehicle, a manual zoom and a visual alert function that works with the rear audible parking aid system to visually highlight a zone in the video image where an object has been detected. The rear parking aid camera communicates with the BCM through a LIN circuit. Refer to the Owner's Literature for information on how to operate the rear parking aid camera system features.
