Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See ABS Warning Indicator. REFER to: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

If the BCM is missing the ABS warning indicator request message for less than the programmed length of time, the IPC defaults the ABS warning indicator to its last state (on or off) based upon the last known good message received.

If the ABS warning indicator request message is missing for the programmed length of time or longer, the BCM and the IPC set DTC U0121:00 and the IPC defaults the ABS warning indicator on.
