Pinpoint Test Am : A Door Ajar Display Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Door Ajar Indication Displays. REFER to: Warning Chimes - System Operation and Component Description .

If the door status message is missing for the programmed length of time or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0140:00 in continuous memory and defaults all door ajar message center displays off until the IPC receives a valid message indicating a door ajar.

BCM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B1306:13 Liftgate Ajar Switch: Circuit Open An on-demand DTC that sets in the BCM if the luggage compartment lid or liftgate ajar input is open.
