Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

If the stability-traction control disabled indicator message is missing or invalid for less than the programmed length of time, the IPC defaults the stability-traction control disabled indicator (sliding car OFF icon) to the last indication mode (on/off) based upon the last known good message.

If the BCM does not receive the stability-traction control disabled indicator message from the ABS module for the programmed length of time or longer, the BCM and the IPC set DTC U0121:00. If the IPC does not receive the stability/traction control disabled indicator message, the IPC defaults the stability-traction control disabled indicator (sliding car OFF icon) off.
