Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Stability-Traction Control Indicator (Sliding Car Icon). REFER to: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

If the BCM does not receive the stability-traction control indication message from the ABS module for the programmed length of time or longer, the BCM and the IPC set DTC U0121:00. If the IPC does not receive the stability-traction control indication message, the IPC defaults the stability-traction control indicator (sliding car icon) on.

If the stability-traction control indication message is missing or invalid for less than the programmed length of time, the IPC defaults the stability-traction control indicator (sliding car icon) to the last indication mode (on/off) based upon the last known good message.
