Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Upshift RTT Indicator. REFER to: Warning Chimes - System Operation and Component Description .

If the transmission shift indicator request message is missing for less than 1 second, the IPC defaults the upshift RTT Indicator to its last state (on or off) based upon the last known good message received.

If the transmission shift indicator request message is missing for 1 second or longer, the BCM and IPC set DTC U0100:00. If the transmission upshift indication request message is missing, the IPC defaults the upshift RTT Indicator off.
