Network Message Chart - Indicators

Module Network Input Messages - IPC 

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
AWD lock status AWD module Input used to display the information indicator along with text messages associated with the AWD system.
ABS warning indicator request ABS module Input used to control the ABS warning indicator.
Airbag indicator request RCM Input used to control the airbag warning indicator.
Alarm mode BCM Input used to control the information indicator based on the PATS and perimeter alarm status.
Brake fluid level low BCM Input used to control the brake warning indicator for the brake fluid level input.
Brake warning request ABS module Input used to control the brake warning indicator for the ABS input.
BLIS on SODL Input used to control the BLIS off indicator.
Charging system indicator request BCM Input used to control the flashing of the charging system warning indicator.
Fog lamp indicator request BCM Input used to control the fog lamp indicator.
High beam indicator request BCM Input used to control the high beam indicator.
Ignition status BCM Ignition RUN, START and accessory states required for the IPC operating modes and fault reporting.
MIL request PCM Input used to control the MIL.
Oil pressure warning PCM Input used to control the low oil pressure warning indicator.
Parking brake warning request BCM Input used to control the brake warning indicator for the parking brake input.
Passenger detect status OCSM Input used to control the safety belt warning indicator.
Position light indication BCM Input used to control the lights on indicator.
Power system status BCM Input used to control the charging system warning indicator.
Safety belt status RCM Input used to control the safety belt warning indicator.
Stability/traction control indication ABS module Input used to control the stability/traction control indicator (sliding car icon).
Stability/traction control disabled indicator request ABS module Input used to control the stability/traction control disabled indicator (sliding car OFF icon).
Stop/start indicator request PCM Input used to control auto stop-start indicator.
Tire pressure indication BCM Input used to control the TPMS indicator
Transmission mode display actual TCM Input used to control the select shift segment of the PRNDL display.
Transmission shift indicator TCM Input used to control the performance shift (upshift) indicator (RS only).
Transmission shift mode TCM Input used to control the PRNDL display.
Turn indicator command BCM Input used to control the RH/ LH turn or hazard indicators.
