Receiver Drier - 2.3L EcoBoost (257kW/350PS) - MI4: Removal

NOTE: During the removal of components, cap, tape or otherwise appropriately protect all openings to prevent the ingress of dirt or other contamination. Remove protective materials prior to installation.

Recover the refrigerant. Refer to the appropriate Recovery procedure in this article.
Remove the CAC. Refer to: CHARGE AIR COOLER (CAC)
Release the clip and remove the deflector.

1. Remove the retainer and bracket.
2. Remove the retainers and the receiver drier.
  Torque
  
  : 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the system.
