Gearshift Lever - 6-Speed Manual Transmission - B6 6-Speed Manual Transmission - MMT6: Removal

- Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console - Vehicles With: Center Armrest . Refer to: Floor Console - Vehicles Without: Center Armrest .
- Disconnect the gearshift cable ends from the ball studs and remove the gearshift lever nuts.
Torque
: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
- Slide the lock sleeve and remove the gearshift cables from the gearshift lever.
