Transmission Support Insulator: Removal

  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray .
  2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  3. Remove the underbody shield.

  4. Install the special tools. Install Special Service Tool: 303-1554 Engine Support Bar.

  7. Using the special tools, support the engine. Use Special Service Tool: 303-1554 Engine Support Bar.

  8. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers. Remove the nuts and the battery tray support bracket.

  9. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer form the transmission support insulator.

  10. Remove the transmission support insulator.

  11. Remove the bolts and the transmission support insulator bracket.
