Draining

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Remove the underbody shield.

Drain the transmission.
Torque

: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Filling

Remove the fill plug.

Fill the transmission through the fill hole until it is level with the bottom of the fill hole.

Drain fluid from the fill hole. Use the General Equipment: Fluid Suction Gun
Volume

: 0.53qt (500ml)

Install the fill plug.
Torque

: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
