Transmission Support Insulator: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to: Battery Tray .
  3. Remove the engine undershield. Refer to: Engine Undershield .
  4. Install the special tools. Install Special Service Tool: 303-1554 Engine Support Bar.

  7. Using the special tools, support the engine. Use Special Service Tool: 303-1554 Engine Support Bar.

  8. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers. Remove the nuts and the battery tray support bracket.

  9. Remove the bolt and the transmission support insulator.
