Pinpoint Test C : P2535: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

When the ignition is turned to the START position, the PCM receives a voltage signal on the crank detect circuit. When the required inputs have been received, the PCM supplies voltage and ground to the starter relay coil.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
P2535 Ignition Switch Run/Start Position Circuit High The PCM sets this DTC when the PCM detects voltage on the crank detect circuit while engine is running.
