Heater Hoses: Removal

- Remove the engine appearance cover.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the cowl panel. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille .

- Detach the heater hose pin-type retainer. If necessary remove the heater hose support clip.
- Release the hose clamp and disconnect the coolant hose from the coolant outlet adapter. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Rotate the lock rings on the quick disconnect fittings to the release position and disconnect and remove the heater hose assembly.
