Oil Cooler: Installation

Install the oil cooler and the bolt.
Torque

: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

1. Install the oil cooler coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
2. Remove the hose locking pliers.

NOTE: Lubricate the engine oil filter seal with clean engine oil.

Install a new engine oil filter.

Torque

: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

If equipped, install the underbody shield and the retainers.

Inspect and adjust the engine oil level.
Material

: Motorcraft® SAE 5W-20 Synthetic Blend Motor Oil / XO-5W20-QSP (WSS-M2C945-A)
Bleed the engine cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding .
