Ignition Switch: Removal

  1. NOTE: The ignition switch lock cylinder must not be turned while the ignition switch is removed.

    Remove the steering column shrouds. Refer to: STEERING COLUMN SHROUDS .

  2. Remove the ignition switch.

    1. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
    2. Push in the tabs and remove the ignition switch.
