Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The ABS module receives CPP switch input from the PCM over the HS-CAN. The ABS module compares this information against brake pedal switch and sensor input to determine if the clutch pedal input is valid. An incorrectly installed CPP switch can cause a signal plausibility concern. Also, an implausible signal can be created if a driver is resting one foot on the clutch pedal while using the other foot to press the accelerator.

If no change is detected 5 times, this DTC sets. |

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Make sure the CPP switch electrical connector is connected and free of corrosion and other contaminants.
- Make sure the CPP switch is installed correctly.
- Make sure the CPP switch is operating correctly.
