Transfer Case

Remove the catalytic converter. REFER to: Catalytic Converter 2.0L EcoBoost (177kW/240PS) - MI4 . REFER to: Catalytic Converter 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS) .
Remove the front halfshaft RH. REFER to: Front Halfshaft RH .
Remove the CAC tube clamps and CAC tube.

If equipped. Disconnect the PTU temperature sensor.

Remove the PTU heat shield bolts and the PTU heat shield.

Disconnect the PTU vent hose.

Remove the PTU support bracket bolts and the PTU support bracket.
