Evaporative Emission Canister: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Vehicles with FWD. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
  3. Vehicles with AWD. Refer to: Fuel Tank .
    1. Disconnect the EVAP canister quick connect couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
    2. Disconnect the EVAP canister electrical connector.
    3. Remove the nuts and the EVAP canister.

      Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
