Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- If equipped.
- Detach the vent hose and position it aside.
- Disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid electrical connector.

- Rotate the EVAP canister vent solenoid clockwise.
- Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid.
