Seatbelt Retractor and Pretensioner: Removal

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
Remove the B-pillar trim panel. Refer to: B-Pillar Trim Panel .
Remove the D-ring bolt and position the safety belt aside.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

1. Disconnect the safety belt retractor and pretensioner electrical connector.
2. NOTE: This step is only necessary if removing the RH safety belt retractor and pretensioner.
  
  Disconnect the adaptive load-limiting safety belt retractor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolt and the safety belt retractor and pretensioner.
  Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
