Rear Bumper Cover: Removal

  1. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
  2. Refer to: Rear Quarter Panel Moulding .
  3. NOTE: On both sides.

    • Remove 3 nuts.

    • Remove 3 pin-type retainers and the rear inner quarter panel liner.

  4. NOTE: On both sides.

    Remove the bolt.

  5. NOTE: On both sides.

    Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

  6. Disconnect 3 electrical connectors.

  7. Remove 4 push pins.

  8. Remove the rear bumper cover.

  9. NOTE: On both sides.

    Inspect the rear bumper cover brackets for damage.

    Remove 3 screws and the rear bumper cover bracket.
