Transmission Fluid Cooler: Removal

- Remove the active grille shutters. Refer to: Active Grille Shutter .
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube bracket bolt.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube-to-transmission fluid cooler bolts and disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tubes.
- Inspect the transmission fluid cooler to be sure that the transmission fluid cooler tube seals and backing rings were removed with the transmission fluid cooler tubes and are not stuck in the transmission cooler. If the transmission fluid cooler tube seals or backing rings are stuck in the transmission cooler, remove the seals and backing rings.
- Cut the foam insulation from the transmission fluid cooler.
- Remove the cooling module support bracket bolts and lower the cooling module.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler and bracket.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler.
