Catalytic Converter: Installation

NOTE: Install a new gasket on the turbocharger.

NOTE: Do not tighten the 2 new catalytic converter-to-turbocharger nuts at this time.

NOTE: Do not tighten the 4 catalytic converter bracket nuts at this time.
- Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)
- Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Install the Catalyst Monitor Sensor. Refer to: Catalyst Monitor Sensor .
- Refer to: Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) .
- Refer to: Battery Tray .
- Check the exhaust system for leaks.
