Power Liftgate Motor: Removal

  1. Remove the C-pillar trim panels. Refer to: C-Pillar Trim Panel .
  2. NOTE: RH front shown, all others similar.

    Remove the rear grab handles.

  3. Release the rear 2-way locators at the rear of the headliner.

  4. Disconnect the power liftgate motor electrical connector.

  5. Route the power liftgate motor electrical connector and harness through the body.

  6. NOTE: Support the liftgate before removing the power liftgate motor. Failure to follow this direction may result in damage to the components.

    Remove the 2 clips and remove the power liftgate motor.
