Front Seat Power Lumbar Assembly: Removal

Climate Controlled Seats 

  1. Remove the front seat backrest blower motor. REFER to: Front Seat Backrest Blower Motor . REFER to: Front Seat Backrest Blower Motor - Vehicles With: Black Label Trim .

    Heated Seats 

  2. Move the front seat to the full upward position.

  3. Depower the SRS. REFER to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
    1. Detach the wire harness electrical connector retainers and position aside.
    2. Detach the backrest cover straps.
    3. Position the backrest cover upward.

  5. NOTE: To install, gradually alternate the left and right seat backrest cover zippers to prevent damage to the seat backrest cover.

    1. Unzip the seat backrest cover.
    2. Lift the seat backrest cover.

    All Seats 

  6. Disconnect the electrical connector, release the 6 hooks and remove the front seat power lumbar assembly.
