Front Seat Cushion Blower Motor: Removal

All seats

Remove the front seat. REFER to: Front Seat .
Remove the 2 front seat cushion side shield screws.

Disconnect the front seat control switch electrical connector and remove the front seat cushion side shield.

Disconnect and release the 2 wire harness electrical connectors. Disconnect the 2 front seat backrest cover straps from the seat cushion frame.

Release the 2 wire harness retainers and position the 2 wire harnesses aside.

Driver seat
Remove the DSM. REFER to: Driver Front Seat Module (DSM) .
Passenger seat
If equipped, remove the SCME. REFER to: Front Seat Climate Control Module [SCME] .
All seats
NOTE: Note the location of the front seat cushion cover safety belt buckle elastic strap.

Release the 7 J-clips and position the front of the front seat cushion and cover assembly upward.

Passenger seat
NOTE: Original equipment (OE) OCS shown, service kit similar.

NOTE: If equipped with an OCS service kit, the OCS will be adhered to the bottom of the front seat cushion.

With the front seat cushion and cover assembly positioned upward, remove the 2 OCS pin-type retainers.

Position the front of the OCS upward.

Remove the 3 front seat cushion blower motor screws.

1. Disconnect the front seat cushion blower motor electrical connector.
2. Release the 4 locking tabs and remove the front seat cushion blower motor.
