Front Seat Backrest: Removal

NOTE: Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.
  1. Remove the front seat. REFER to: Front Seat .
  2. Remove the 2 front seat cushion side shield screws.

  3. Disconnect the front seat control switch electrical connector and remove the front seat cushion side shield.

  4. Remove the 2 screws and the recliner side shield.

  5. Disconnect and release the 2 wire harness electrical connectors. Disconnect the 2 front seat backrest cover straps from the seat cushion frame.

  6. Release the 2 wire harness retainers and position the 2 wire harnesses aside.

  7. NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphic for this step in installation.

    Remove the 4 bolts and the front seat backrest.
