Front Seat Backrest Cover - Vehicles With: Black Label Trim: Removal

Backrest cover and backrest panel

Remove the front seat. REFER to: Front Seat .
Remove the front seat head restraint guide sleeves. REFER to: Front Head Restraint Guide Sleeve .
Detach the wire harness electrical connector retainers and position aside.

1. Detach the backrest cover straps.
2. Route the backrest cover straps through the backrest blower motor snorkel.
3. Position the backrest cover upward.

Remove the side air bag. REFER to: Side Airbag - Vehicles With: Black Label Trim .
1. Remove the backrest support screws.
2. Pull the snorkel out from between the backrest support and the backrest frame.

Detach the J-clip and release the backrest cover strap.

Release the front seat backrest cover from the backrest frame and position aside.

NOTE: Use care when separating the seat backrest cover from the hook-and-arrow or the hook may be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.

NOTE: Use care when separating the seat backrest cover from the hook-and-loop strips or the hook-and-loop strips may be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.

Release the hook-and-loop strips, release the hook-and-arrow strips and remove the front seat backrest cover.

Backrest panel
Disconnect the blower motor manifold from the backrest foam.
