Brake Vacuum Pump: Removal

- Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe 2.0L EcoBoost (177kW/240PS) - MI4 . or Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe 2.3L EcoBoost (201kW/273PS) .
- Release the coupling and disconnect the vacuum tube.
- Remove the bolts and the brake vacuum pump.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of corrosion and foreign material.
Inspect the gasket and install new as necessary.
