Door Actuator - Defrost Vent

The defrost vent door is a stepper motor style actuator. The FCIM monitors the defrost vent door position by counting the motor steps as it rotates. The FCIM drives the actuator motor in the direction necessary to move the door to the position set by the vehicle occupants.
