Stoplamp Switch: Removal

NOTE: Do not press or pull on brake pedal when installing or removing the stoplamp switch otherwise misadjustment or damage to the stoplamp switch can occur.

NOTE: If equipped.

Remove the LH instrument panel close out panel.
1. Remove the pin-type retainer.
2. Remove the bolts.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. Disconnect the stoplamp switch electrical connector.
2. Turn the stoplamp switch clockwise and remove the switch.
