Exterior Lighting - Overview: Headlamps

The headlamp system consists of:
- Headlamp assemblies
- Ballasts
- Headlamp switch
- LH multifunction switch
- BCM
- SCCM
- IPMA
- Headlamp Control module (HCM)
The High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamp system is a dual-beam pattern system. It consists of a replaceable High Intensity Discharge (HID) bulb in each headlamp assembly. The headlamp LED park/signature and front turn lamps are integrated into the headlamp assembly.
For China only, the headlamps are equipped with automatic headlamp leveling.
