Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The GSM and the BCM communicate on the HS-CAN but use a redundant hard wired system as a backup. If the HS-CAN system fails, the GSM and BCM communicate via this hard wired system.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

| B1319:15 | Shift Interlock (BSI) Output Circuit: Circuit Short To Battery or Open | This DTC sets when the BCM detects an open or short to power on the dedicated brake shift interlock circuit. |
| P081F | Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) Signal Correlation | The GSM detects a voltage signal out of range during the HS-CAN operating modes. |
