Exterior Rear Door Handle: Removal

Remove the rear door trim panel. REFER to: Rear Door Trim Panel

1. Hold the rear door handle open.
2. Turn the release screw 8 turns. The handle releases after approximately 6 to 6.5 turns. You must continue to the full 8 revolutions for installation purposes.

NOTE: Do not pull the door handle out of the door too far without disconnecting the handle from the connector. Damage to the harness will occur.

Disconnect the exterior rear door handle connector from inside the door and remove the exterior rear door handle.
