Power Door Locking Feedback

The exterior lamps and exterior sounder provide visual and audible feedback when unlocking and locking the doors under certain circumstances. Refer to the following chart:
NOTE:
The mislock feature (if equipped) chimes the exterior sounder twice (no turn signal flash) if the hood, liftgate or any door is ajar when the lock button is pressed on a valid programmed RKE transmitter. This feature can be configured on/off through the message center.

There is also feedback provided by the vehicle to the key for the remote start feature. For additional information regarding the remote start feedback, refer to the Owner's Literature.
The BCM controls the exterior sounder. When requested, the BCM provides voltage to the exterior sounder to actuate it.
