Pinpoint Test Ac : The Cruise Control RTT (RECONFIGURABLE Telltale) Indicator Is Never On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Cruise Control RTT Indicator. Refer to: Message Center - System Operation and Component Description .

If the cruise control status, cruise control override (adaptive cruise) or cruise control set speed (adaptive cruise) message is missing or deemed invalid by the IPC for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the cruise control indicator to the last indication state (on or off), based upon the last message received.

If the cruise control status, cruise control override (adaptive cruise) or cruise control set speed (adaptive cruise) message is missing or if the data is deemed invalid by the IPC for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC defaults the cruise control indicator off.
