Active Park Assist Switch: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, refer to Safety Warnings in GENERAL INFORMATION (EXCEPT HYBRID) . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .

  2. Remove the FCIM. REFER to: Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display. REFER to: Active Park Assist Switch .
  3. Remove the retainers and position the FCIM side trim panel aside.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector and the remove the active park assist switch.
