Turbocharger Oil Supply Tube - LH: Installation

  1. 1.

    Install the new turbocharger oil tube assembly O-ring seal. Lubricate the new turbocharger oil tube assembly O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

    Inspect the turbocharger oil supply tube-to-engine block fitting and replace as needed. Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

  1. 3.

    NOTE: Lubricate the cylinder block bore with clean engine oil.

    Install the turbocharger oil tube assembly and install the turbocharger oil tube assembly lower bolt.

    • Tighten the turbocharger oil tube assembly lower bolt in the following 2 stages.
      • Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
      • Tighten an additional 30 degrees.

    Install the Turbocharger - LH, refer to Turbocharger - LH .
