Pinpoint Test BB: DTC U0424:82 

Normal Operation 

• DTC U0424:82 (Invalid Data Received from HVAC Control Module: Alive/ Sequence Counter Incorrect/Not Updated) - sets in continuous memory in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) if data messages received from the HVAC module over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) are not updated for 5 seconds or more. This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• HVAC module
• IPC
