Pinpoint Test BA: DTC U0253:00 

Normal Operation 

• DTC U0253:00 (Lost Communication With Accessory Protocol Interface Module: No Sub-Type Information) - sets in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) if data messages received from the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) are missing for 1 minute or more. This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• APIM
• IPC
