Pinpoint Test T : U0257: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The PAM uses the BCM and the IPC as a gateway modules to communicate with the FCDIM. The PAM communicates over the HS-CAN with the BCM. The BCM communicates over the MS-CAN with the IPC and the IPC communicates over the I-CAN with the FCDIM.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0257 Lost Communication With Front Controls / Display Interface Module: No Subtype Information A CMDTC that sets when the PAM is unable to communicate with the FCDIM for 0.5 seconds or more after the active park assist system has been activated.
